In our Reading activities lesson today, Year 3 had a deep dive into the poem The Spider and the Fly. They worked collaboratively to gain a better understanding of its characters and the story behind the poem when the Spider lured the Fly into his web before eating her. This nearly 200 year old poem gave them opportunity to discover vocabulary used in the 19th century. Well done children you worked so well together. #ks2english #welovepoems #onlyprepschoolinsale
